Getting Started with User Triggered Campaigns

A User Triggered campaign is a simple, easy-to-use campaign type that allows you to quickly add contacts to a campaign and easily remove contacts from existing campaigns. User triggered campaigns are a special type of campaign that is initiated by

  • Manually adding a contact from the contact edit screen
  • Adding a contact via the bulk contact edit (on the All Contacts screen)
  • Using one of the Add To Campaign workflow actions
  • Adding a contact(s) using the api

 

Contacts continue in a User Triggered campaign until they exit the workflow or are removed from the campaign via:

  • Manually removing a contact from the contact edit screen
  • Removing a contact via the bulk contact edit (on the All Contacts screen) 
  • Using one of the Remove From Campaign workflow actions
  • Removing a contact(s) using the api
  • Using the chrome extension

 

Creating a User Triggered campaign

Browse to Automation-Campaigns. In FunnelFLARE click the Campaign create button:

 

 

After choosing an appropriate unique name for your campaign, choose 'User Triggered Campaign' as the starting step

 

 

 

Now you can create the sequence of actions/decisions that process this prospect.

 

Adding a contact to a User Triggered Campaigns

You can add contacts to a user-triggered campaign

  1. From the contact edit screen
  2. Using the bulk edit
  3. Using the workflow action
  4. Using the chrome extension

 

1. Use the contact edit screen

Browse to the contact that you want to add to your campaign (via a report, list, or the all contacts screen). Click on Contact Details, find the 'User Triggered Campaigns' box. This will list all User Triggered campaigns this contact is currently in.

 

 

2. Use the bulk contact editor

 

 

  1. Browse to the All Contacts screen (Contacts-All Contacts). Find the contacts that you want to add to a User Triggered campaign using a list/segment to filter or by searching for the contacts. Once you find the contacts, select the contacts that you want to add to a User Triggered campaign.
  2. Click the Bulk Edit button that appears
  3. select the 'Add To Campaign' dropdown. Select the Triggered campaign

 

3. Use the workflow action

In any workflow, you can use the 'add to campaign' workflow action to insert a person into a campaign as a part of the workflow. You can select any active user triggered campaign in the drop-down. 

 

3. Use the Chrome Extension

Using the power dialer, or the chrome extension lead insights, the user triggered campaign interface is exposed.

Removing contacts from a User Triggered campaign 

You can remove contacts from user triggered campaigns

  1. Using the contact edit screen
  2. Using the bulk edit
  3. Using the workflow action
  4. Use the chrome extension

 

1. Use the contact edit screen

Browse to the contact that you want to add to your campaign (via a report, list, or the all contacts screen). Click on Contact Details, find the 'User Triggered Campaigns' box. This will list all User Triggered campaigns this contact is currently in. Click the 'x' to remove the person from the campaign

 

 

2. Use the bulk contact editor

  1. Browse to the All Contacts screen (Contacts-All Contacts).
  2. Find the contacts that you want to remove from a User Triggered campaign using a list/segment to filter or by searching for the contacts. Once you find the contacts, select the contacts that you want to remove from a User Triggered campaign.
  3. Click the Bulk Edit button that appears
  4. select the 'Remove From Campaign' dropdown. Select the Triggered campaign

 

3. Use the workflow action

In any workflow, you can use the 'Remove From campaign' workflow action to remove a person from a campaign as a part of the workflow. You can select any active user triggered campaign in the dropdown. 

 

3. Use the Chrome Extension
